Surely you can't be THAT naive, in a country that
has become racially charged, with accusations of
racism hurled about everyday over any and
everything---with a Super Bowl where the theme
is "unity" and "racial justice", even with most of
the commercials---surely you can't be naive enough
to believe that many, if not most, who saw or
heard about Mathieu's tweet that Brady said
something he "couldn't repeat" and something that
was surprising---that with many, the automatic
assumption would be it must have been racial ?
Mathieu could quickly clear it up today
by saying he was not implying it was a racist word
used by Brady, if it was not----but don't
leave it just to linger.
