You're really comparing Auburn 2000-2007 with Alabama 2008-2021? That's laughable man, and you know it. This thread wasn't started as an Alabama/Auburn thing. I'd have the same opinion if it was Southern California that had the 2008-2021 run that Alabama has had.

No, I'm noting that Auburn had a similar dominating handle on Alabama (not all of college football, but specifically Alabama) from 2002-2007, and nobody on the Auburn side seemed to be too concerned about how one-sided things had gotten.

My point wasn't Alabama/Auburn, it was that the view from the bottom is different than the view from the top. One man's struggle to climb the mountain is another man's struggle to defend the mountain.

Alabama won't be like this forever, as we all know. Saban will retire at some point in the next 3-5 years and our empire will slowly recede (only because the foundation he will have built will be so strong - it was even Les Miles proof). Clemson won't either.

Ohio State, on the other hand, they seem to never be bad. Ever.
