There is no point at all for Mac Jones to come back. The skill mix on offense would suggest that the offense is likely to be more run-heavy than it has been the prior 3 seasons. Few things are certain but a QB not helping his draft stock with handoffs is one of them.

At this point, he is a fully-formed product at QB. I don't see how he could get any better in the college game. He can make all the throws. He can change trajectory and velocity as required by the route and defense. He can execute traditional back-to-the-defense play actions and still process the look post-snap to avoid bad interceptions. He's got fantastic pocket awareness and footwork to extend for a throw.

He may or may not be a good NFL quarterback. Anyone who says they know one way or another is fully of shite. But he's not really got anything to work on in the college game that would make him a better prospect.
