i mean, having it on the resume is better than not. it got his foot in the door in the league. he was OC and QB coach for florida. he could be the reasoning behind why Trask shined like he did this year. then again, that could've been due to Pitts being good.

It wasn't just Pitts. I mean Pitts was great, but Trask+Pitts+Toney was just great. I don't know if Johnson called all the plays and Mullen just had over call rights, or what, but the offense hummed along at a nice pace.

If Johnson did the play calling, then he will do well at the NFL level. As for the poster that said that he called the plays but it was Mullen's offense? It's not a scheme so much as setting up plays and knowing what to call at certain points of a game. Whoever called the plays did very well.
