I don't think we're expecting that either. We're expecting to not lose 4-5 times per year. And I'd say with more money, resources, as good of facilities as anyone and consistent top 10 recruiting classes, it's not too much to ask to at least contend for the conference.

I have not heard a single Texas fan say "well, we're not winning the national championship every year, so everything's an abject failure"

I wouldn't necessarily say he "turned things around" by needing OT to beat a miserable Tech team or losing to TCU 3 of 4 times.
