Growing up, I always liked defense the most.

I loved the 3rd down stops. The qb hurries that forced a pass breakup, throw away, big sack, or possible interception.

I loved the runs that got stuffed in the backfield. Remeber Clowney's hit against Michigan?

I miss punts that actually matter. Swinging the field postion and pinning them deep.

I dont know, alot of football just doesnt seem like football anymore.

Maybe its cause some of my first big memories of the Tide were of the 92 Defense.

I'm a high school DC and things have changed so much the last 5-7 years or so. Kids don't want to play defense anymore. They aren't physical anymore. You face all of this spread and RPO stuff, and then a Wing-T team pops up on your schedule. I now feel if I can hold.a team to 20 it's an accomplishment. Back in the day giving up an average of 20 PPG would get you canned.
