Thumbs up. I give special teams a solid A- for the season.
Camarda had a few clunkers but he was still a weapon for most of the year. Podlesney did damn good for a new kicker. Kearis Jackson was good on punt returns. McCintosh was really good on kickoffs before he got hurt.
The only reason I don't give an A or A+ is because of the punt block against Missouri. No good football team should ever have a punt block. And also Camarda freaked out and played really shitty against Alabama when we needed him most.

He was a question mark coming in. Our rivals made fun of us, but he has proven to be a capable and competent ST coach.

I was pleased. I hope CKS can find ways to keep him in Athens. I have a feeling this is mostly Kirby trying to help Cochran get a Head coaching job(he was pursuing the vandy job). Saban was never gonna let him move out of S&C which pigeonholed him.

Kirby did it just as much to frick Saban as he did to help Cochran.

for sure, it was multi-dimensional. Helps us, helps Cochran, fricks with Saban.
