Possible, though not very probable. I can’t argue it, only disagree. I don’t have any more solid data than you, simply a different opinion. But the SEC set a 10 game conference schedule so if Alabama were only at 60% of games played, I doubt it.

Which is probably what should be given the opportunity to occur. The B10 screwed their own pooch by sitting on the fence and not being willing to play, then having a late start to a drastically shortened season and giving no chance for a postponement.

The rule of 6 games isn’t wrong... it ensures the CONFERENCE CHAMPION played a minimum of 75% of its games before being crowned. All member institutions should be held to the same standard.

But at least we can agree it is pandering.
