The polarizing nature of the discussion about it is fascinating. The actual subject and root of the conversation doesn't even move the needle for me.

TBH, I think it's a part of a culture war that we're not a part of either because we're not old enough for it to be a hang up or because we're not tied to a political ideology that has so much to say about it.

Let's say you were out sick and got replaced on your job by someone based upon skin color or sex...and not because they could do the job. They then proved they could not do the job, and instead of bringing you back when you were well, they kept the other person and told you you were fired. Would that bother you?
