I think that is the entire point, though, is it not? Why was she out on the field if they/she was scared she might get hit?

Not really. I was talking about the ones that think she can't kick the ball farther than that or that she is incapable of kicking. I agree that it was pointless to have her on the team if that's how they were gonna utilize her. As I said before, there were most likely a bunch of guys on the team already that could at least do what she did.

you're backtracking like hell now

you said originally it was "not a big deal" to you either way

now you're taking a harder stance in favor of the right thinking players

admit that you're backtracking

it's fricking cultural/gender Marxism and everyone knows it

Vanderbilt is fricked. They've always been my second favorite SEC team because I lived there and attended their games in the early 90's and I was friends with people who coached there and had coached there previous. Now they can shove it.

Who knows? She hasn't shown that she can or can not.
Which in my mind is the entire point. If all they wanted a kicker to do is get the ball to the 35, why not have a member of the team kick it out of bounds?

The reason people are upset is the lack of respect the University (Whether is twas the coach, administration or whoever) showed the rest of the team. The game should be focused on the team and not a girl that apparently cannon kick the ball.

I think she can't kick a football because if she could, why would they not have her kick the ball as far as she could? If it makes it to the 15 or the 20.....okay. But at least she would have done the job they got her to do, and it would have helped the team.

If they told her to squib it, then they did a disservice to her and to their football team.
