I was at the game and remember being both amused and embarrassed for Auburn's coaching staff that they left him in the game late so he could get to that 1000 yard mark.

ETA: Down 49-0, he was still getting carries. I believe his last carry of the game, which was the last play of the game, was what put him over the mark.

Why be embarrassed. The kid worked hard that season and it was a reward for it.
