Should’ve gone with a Hail Mary. And that’s not revisionist, it’s what I said at the time.
There was no way that kid was making that field goal.
You can also make the argument about the personnel used for the FG. Of course I probably would’ve gone with the big slow guys too. I would’ve been a lot more worried about a blocked kick than a return.
