His legs were what made him a "game changer". His receivers always made him look good, but they could make any QB look good. That's generally what elite receivers do.

He was very ineffective against us in the SECCG. It took Hurts (who was ineffective against us the season before) to get momentum and beat us. That tells me it isn't the QB by himself, but the team.

I just flipped to the BC/Clemson game. I would take either of those QBs over anything on our roster, keeping in mind that Lawrence isn't playing. Boston College has a better QB than Georgia and it isn't because they have a superstar like Matt Ryan. It's because we have FSU level QB play.

I don't disagree. Bennett isn't our "future". He's in there because our first choices left our program and our backups aren't yet ready to fill the void. Bennett gives us the best shot to win games and because we still have all our goals ahead of us, CKS isn't going to throw that away to develop players for next season or the seasons to come. Coaches are paid to win games today, not forfeit in the hopes of winning tomorrow.
