That's pretty much the story---and because
NCAA investigations and assessed penalties don't
turn on a dime, there will arise several "insiders"
who will jerk you around with their supposed knowledge of what's going on, day by day,
inside the program as well as inner chambers of the
NCAA. These goobers will give you hope, then
discourage the next day, then hope, then...etc. .
Of course they never name their sources.
Desperate for any news in the long wait, you'll
probably buy into their shite, up to a point and
there will be in-fighting over whether this guy
really knows anything or not.
When final decision comes down and they were
wrong about everything, they disappear into
cyber space.
