Not entirely true.

They also won titles in 1911,1912,1969 and have a legit claim to 1994 along with Nebraska. (They were undefeated in 1994)
Those go along with their titles in the 80s like you mentioned. (1982 and 1986)

I mean, if you don't think they belong, that's fine. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. I would agree with those who would include them, though.

(I will admit that the 70s and 80s were when I was paying fairly close attention to college football and have a bit of a bias for those teams)
