It's not about playing conference games. It's about the number of games and the wear and tear on bodies that is the issue. I mean, using your logic why play any games? Just give them a pass into the playoffs, because, after all, they are the most talented and deep team. "Everybody knows it!" right? There is a reason teams play the same number of games in a season.
