Newman was an ACC QB who looked mediocre at best, JT Daniels was an okay Freshman who has had a bum knee for a long time now. I just think it's pretty funny that they literally tried to get whoever they could to not start Dwan Mathis.
Now do Alpaca. How did he look at Florida! Because you criticized him the whole time he was there, but your QB guru didn't see it.

I've always been disgruntled with that move, but in the end: When Trask leaves, we will have three Quarterbacks that actually fit the system. Franks was the closest (because he could actually run) to fitting and so Mullen tried to shoehorn him in there.
But I mean, let's look at Georgia's QB situation.
QB1 - Jamie Newman (Opted out)
QB2 - JT Daniels (Knee's hurt)
QB3 - Dwan Mathis (Never played a down)
QB4 - Stetson Bennett (Practically a walkon)
QB5 - Carson Beck (True Freshman, Redshirting unless there are injuries)
You guys have two Quarterbacks ready to go, and are an injury/bad night of sushi away from having to start a walk-on or a true freshman. This ain't good.
