Tennessee scraps scrimmage with 44 Vols out

Is this a good sign that Tennessee will be ready for football with most players already got the COVID-19 out of the way?

According to your article, only 7 or 8 are actually covid cases. The rest are minor injuries or contact tracing cases.

This. IDK why it's being reported like 44 players all tested positive but most of the non-practicers are out for various football related things. Injuries, recoveries, dings, etc. Others are out because they came in contact with someone who came in contact with someone.

Yeah. I can tell you why that 44 is being thrown around. ESPN pushed that for one reason...make it seem as bad as possible to drive the narrative that CFB needs to sit out the season.
