A new QB with a new OC would be expected to struggle against a defense returning alot of starters. This isn't a surprise to anyone with common sense.

I don’t think anyone disagrees with this. I think people also expect the UGA offense to struggle this season for the same reasons (among others), which is also common sense

Possibly, but we're expected to have the best defense in the SEC. I don't think it's fair to judge an offense on it's first live football experience together against one of the most talented defenses in the country.

struggle this season

I think there are a lot of reasons our offense could struggle this season. New OC, New Offensive philosophy, New QB, New RBs, New OLine, less practice time, and on and on.

Most of us are hoping for the best.
