I don't post often but here is my take; for what it's worth.

I think Muschamp wants Hilinski in at QB and I think Bobo wants Hill. I think both are probably about equal in their development, with that being said I think Hilinski is a much better talent with higher upside. The "factor" determining who is going to start comes down to Bobo wanting his dude to start, regardless of who "knows" the offense better.

When it all comes down to it, if my assumptions are correct, I like the idea of Muschamp giving that control over to this OC. I think Bobo is probably the first truly talented OC Muschamp has had working for him.

I think Carolina_Girl said it first, "Hill will start and Hilinski will start by game 4". I think that is pretty accurate.

So here's a thought that has been circulating through my head, more like a new offensive scheme for the future, that may, or may not have, been applied yet. With Doty (who I think is going to be GREAT for our team) and Stockton coming; has there ever been a dual QB system played? What I mean by that, not a rotating QB system, but 2 QB's on the field at the same time. And in this case, 2 dual threat QB's that can throw and run. Would need a talented center though.

I hate this decision though, I think hilinski should be the guy. This could massively screw our QB room.

Or quite simply they don't want to throw HIlsinki to the wolves in a completely new system. So they'll pick up W's the best way they can until he's comfy enough to run the O. I tend to think you're giving our head coach way too much credit.
