Bert and Sam recruited STL, they signed some highly rated online busts back then. Petrino recruited MO well outside of DBG. He signed Wingo from up there.

Petrino and Bert expanded the recruiting grounds of Arkansas to include Missouri and Tulsa/OK and did quite well in getting players from this areas. Morris narrowed Arkansas recruiting presence to a perimeter around Arkansas, that isn't a good strategy for success.
