This isn't "breaking" or "new" information. The NBA has been using it in trials since they started back. The B1G and Pac12 knew about this before they cancelled and the saliva test being approved was widely known to be imminent... fwiw

So as has already been stated, the B1G and cronies were looking for an excuse to cancel.
