I'll say this about Columbia, you get the full college campus experience including beautiful fall foliage, the columns which shield Jesse Hall and the famous Francis Quad. A truly first class campus.

I have to admit I was a bit disappointed in College Station when I visited there. Just kind of blah. Kyle Field is fine and the people are nice.
