Interesting. So why did Saban continually push the rules and go into gray areas when it came to over signing and the concept of "support" staff? Why did he need all these edges if he such a superior
coach and developer of talent?

If it's not against the rules then why not do it. Saban does what it takes to win championships. Obviously Kirby didn't absorb as much as he should've during their time together.
