If you're so upset about it

I'm not upset, I, like most of the people on this website, just think it's silly that you refuse to play your #1 in-state rival, and that you left for a different region's conference to avoid playing them.

If you would just play Texas every year we wouldn't need these threads anymore.

Meh... you know I like you. You know I generally approve of any post that pokes our friends down in Aggieland.

That having been said A&M did exactly what they had to do. Believe it or not leaving the Big 12 or, in the case of Arkansas, the SWC was not an instant godsend to A&M, Mizzou, or Arkansas.

We all lost great rivalries and some access to prime recruiting grounds. That having been said the long term stability made it more than worth it. None of us have to worry about whether or not the conference we are in is going to poof over night and leave us begging Conference USA for a slot.

All three programs, Arkansas, A&M, and Mizzou have registered top 10 finishes in the last decade. Yes, Arkansas sucks now and we will have to rebuild, but by any standard joining the SEC has been wonderful for all three programs.

Texas is not in the driver's seat when it comes to scheduling games with Arkansas and A&M. Kansas is begging Mizzou to renew their series. All three schools made the right decision.
