It's part of our history as a country. Not everyone that fought for the south did so for slavery. It's nice to see you have no education to go with your arguments though. Many people who fought could have easily ended up fighting for the North including Robert E Lee. Unlike liberals, I have no problem with Statues that show leaders that helped shape America - Good and bad. We gone have a book burning next?
And yes, I'm sure there were many good people that went.

Nope but we don't have to put a statue of every historical figure. Germany isn't erecting statues of the NAZIs even if it was a big part of their history. Museums exist for a reason
