I think they have a good chance of beating Baylor. Aranda has a bigger rebuild to do than you'd think for a team that just went to the Sugar Bowl. Ole Miss on the other hand was young last year and return enough talent on offense to be decent right away. But it's also Ole Miss so who know what to expect. I'd say that game is a true toss-up right now.

If they're going to upset somebody I think it will be Auburn, but I'm not sure I expect that to happen.

I think 5-7 is probably the worst case scenario for them. The non-con schedule is easier this year with three games you feel like you should definitely win, and at this stage you have to feel like Vandy and Arkansas are games you should win. That leaves you with true toss up games against Baylor and State to get to 6 or 7. My gut says they split those games and go 6-6, but it wouldn't shock me if they went 0-2 or 2-0.

Luke was not a good coach but he didn't leave behind that bad of a situation for Kiffin. I think they'll be solid offensively, the question is more about defense. I feel like McIntyre got the most out of last year's group that he could've possibly gotten, can the new DC's match that? The two State transfers probably aren't going to light the world on fire but they are still upgrades in talent from what OM has had. Lovett was a pretty good player for State last year, Jones got picked on at times but he was also thrown into the fire some as a true freshman.

They'll be better but not drastically better. Should be in bowl contention though.
