I agree with your points. I think what Mullen did at MSU gets downplayed by some (particularly some UGA fans who white knight for Kirby come hell or high water).

The barometer for me is who would I want coaching at LSU. Mullen or Kirby? It's close, but I give the nod to Mullen. He far exceeded expectations at MSU, and he gave LSU one hell of a game this season, probably our closest of the season.

Kirby, based on the resources at UGA, is largely doing what he's supposed to be doing.

Just my .02, but I agree with your points about Mullen.

I hear you. But the flip side of the coin is LSU fans in general seem to overemphasize his time at MSU because he beat you twice (spare me the bs about Kirby not doing that). He was like 2-19 against top 25 teams in his time at MSU.

Mullen is somewhere in between what UGA fans and LSU fans think of him which is still a pretty dang good coach.

Florida has those same level of resources.
