SUGAR BOWL Nat'l Champ' on the line.
Goal line stand at the end of the game from inside the 1yd line. PSU had 1rst and goal to go from inside the 10 yd line. A penalty against Bama gave them 1rst and goal from inside the 1. Bama held and the rest is Bama Lore!
Bryant vs Paterno and k. Jackson on the call for the television.
2 great and evenly matched teams. Never have I witnessed such a spectacle ever again! Many have come close but I was a youngin and the impression of that game has never left me! Intense! There really isn't a word to describe it!

My 8 year old does a mean Keith Jackson saying “Aaaaaalabamaaa”. He’s never heard Keith Jackson, but everytime the announcers say Alabama, I can’t help following it up with the KJ version. Now he does it too.
