He was quick and fast as hell and a decent passer. He was nearly unstoppable in that system at that time. After the league changed substitution rules and started enforcing 3 yards downfield and defensive coordinators figured out how to defend it, Gus hasn’t been the same since. He’s lost at least 4 games a year and only won more than 9 one time the last six years.
