I’m not a Texas fan. I just think it’s funny an Auburn fan would claim they are irrelevant because they only have one recent title

Well Auburn's was more recent; recruits now would've been toddlers during that 06 Rose Bowl

Partner, I’m a native Texan who was raised on Longhorn football. I’ve lived a lifetime of disappointment rooting for the Longhorns. Hell, I sat my arse in the Cotton Bowl and watch them beat Bear Bryant 14-12. I saw Earl Campbell score 2 touchdowns against Rice in less than seconds.
I did my undergrad at Auburn and rooted for the Longhorns as my second favorite up until the day I saw Mack Brown on TV talking about how Auburn didn’t deserve to play USC for the title in 2004. He said OU was the better team ...the one that had their assess handed to them in national television. The ineptitude of BIG 12 football was on display for the entire world to see. You probably remember that undefeated 2004 Auburn team don’t you?
