Can you lay out and swim there in January? You can at South Beach.

Yea but you can’t in NC or SC beaches
I wouldn’t wanna live in Miami, FL, that’s just me

Hasn't snowed in Myrtle Beach in a long time plus snow here last for a day or two but new York last for a month or two.

Snow doesn’t last for a month or two.
This isn’t Chicago or Minnesota.
And it hasn’t snowed here much in the last 2-3 years actually
We only got 2.5 inches in 2019. Been staying warmer later in the year too

Next week the high in NYC is 58 and low is 28.
North Myrtle Beach next week high is 70 and low is around 50.

Plus Southerners are much more pleasant to be around compared to fast talking rude yankees
