Ok, so upon reading further these two dumbasses were transporting weed from LA to Louisiana and for whatever reason decided to take a route through El Paso, crossed the border into Mexico and then got stopped by the border patrol trying to cross back into the US.

I mean, this has to be up for hall of shame stupid right?

"Nah man, driving the entire way through the US is boring. Let's take a detour into another country with the equivalent of a small adult worth of weed in the trunk."

i don't think they crossed the border, BP sets up checkpoints away from the border in some border towns
