Well, it doesn’t help when NFL people come out and say Gus’ offense is trash for developing OL.

Gus has the right idea on OL scouting. Especially OTs. The downfall is that our scheme is simple and that works against us in recruiting. It’s why a guy like Tega can come in and be pretty dominant despite no OL experience. It’s also why we’re a great transfer destination.

Works against us on the high school level, though. Some of it is bullshite but there’s a common fear among NFL teams that Auburn OL need a lot of work getting up to speed on NFL playbooks. Hopefully Tega and Driscoll help change that. Bicknell may help too since he’s got an NFL background
