Nobody will admit it, but Tua choked in every big game we had.

Then explain the big second-half comeback vs LSU? We finally catch up after being down big time and our defense proceeds to resort back to first-half form getting walked down the field in the 4th. Chunk play after chunk play with the same simple throws and QB runs? With just a half-azz defense that long bomb to Devonte Smith could have finished off the Tigers.

Alabama didn't start scoring until almost the 4th quarter.

Scored 1 TD the entire first half on offense. Didn't score the 2nd TD until there was 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

But even then, that drive was all Najee Harris. Tua went 3-7 on the drive, with 2 of the completions being to Najee. The rest of the drive and what got things going were Najee Harris runs.

1. Najee Harris runs for 31 yards
2. Incomplete pass
3. Najee Harris pass for 23 yards
4. Najee Harris runs for 7 yards
5. Incomplete pass
6. Incomplete pass
7. Ruggs pass for 22 yards
8. Incomplete pass
9. Najee Harris runs for 8 yards
10. Najee Harris runs for 4 yards
11. Najee Harris pass for 15 yards for TD.

11 plays, 7 pass attempts and 3 completions(42%). That drive was all Najee Harris.

The following drive was also mostly Najee Harris.

1. Najee Harris runs for 14 yards
2. Incomplete pass
3. Incomplete pass - but defensive holding called.
4. 32 yard pass to Devonta
5. Najee Harris runs for 9 yards
6. Najee Harris runs for -1 yards
7. Najee Harris runs for 1 yard
8. Najee Harris runs for 12 yards
9. Incomplete Pass
10. Najee Harris runs for 1 yard

Tua hits 1-4(25%) of his passes. This drive ends in the 4th quarter.

It wasn't until the following drive that Tua started to show up. But by now we are already into the 4th quarter, and we only get the ball 2 more times.

In the 1st quarter, we managed 1 TD that took 4 plays. AKA basically 1 explosive play. Other than that, we fumbled the ball inside LSU's 10 yard line without being touched and threw an interception with 15 seconds left in the half on our own side of the field, putting LSU with the ball on our own 13.

Previous big game: Only scored 16 points and was shut out the 2nd half.

Prior to that, It was vs Georgia and Hurts was the one who saved the day. Incoming injury excuses.

The only good game he had against a good defense was the 2nd half of the Georgia NC game. Which will make him a legend forever. But beyond that, nothing.

AJ McCarron is still the greatest QB of the Saban era.
