Yep. Or set the speed limit at 55 in their state. Or force their state to take foreign refugees. Or tell their state how the schools in their state are to be ran, and what they can teach. I can go on all night
You're one of those azzholes that always tells the half of the story that benefits their position the most
That's a poor example above azzhole, the Federal Govt has never set a State speed limit or forced a State to lower the blood alcohol level to 0.08
What the Federal Govt will do is cut that State's Federal Hwy Dollars, or Road Construction money and then that State makes their own decision how important those STATE'S RIGHTS really are
Guess what they do 100% of the time azzhole? - they comply with the Federal Standards, be it seatbelt laws, speed limits, or BALs for impaired driving
You see azzhole, Governors that have to run a State don't live in your fantasy world of State's Rights
To the folks that actually have to RUN A STATE, your pollyanna-ish State's Rights bullshyt ain't worth the salt in your piss
It seems to me that 100% of the Governors in the USA don't give a shyt about State's Rights and always cave in to the Federal Standards to get that money that helps balance that State's budget and operate efficiently
Same goes for education, if States want Title I & Title II money earmarked for K-12 education they tend to agree to certain minimum Federal Requirements
That's how the real fvcking world works, the real world and most Governors could give a rats azz about your State's Rights pollyanna based bullshyt
State's Rights my azz!

Triggered.
One wonders if you contemplate your own loss of free speech rights, or right to an attorney, or right to be secure in your person and possessions, as you screech about wiping your arse with the Constitution.
