When I was a TA in college I got a small stipend while my endowed chair professor/lab director made into the 6 figures.

False equivalency.

TAs are not the talent that generate billion dollar tv contracts and fund 100+ million dollar athletic departments.

There is absolutely nothing "amateur" about big time college football except the excuses they use not to pay the talent.

Well if you are getting paid to do something then by definition you are no longer an amateur.

I’ll outright say it: I don’t give a damn about the individual athletes. I support my Alma mater no matter what SoB throws on our jersey for a few years. You’re already compensated far and away more than what you are individually worth anyways because of the product as whole is what interests us.

This generation has been given everything in life from cradle to high school commencement and they act like they are Kunta Kentaing it out there.

frick it just get off my lawn.

Everybody on the field is getting paid except the players. Not just the coaches but the referees, the trainers, the kid holding the cable for the coaches headset, the kid in the tiger suit, even the marching band gets a stipend. Every person who steps on that field except the players putting themselves at risk to produce the billion-dollar product being sold. Something is wrong there.
