Seriously though I think this might be a good hire if we get him the staff he wants. If we can pull some experienced associate coaches and recruiters

Here is my question to this. I’ve honestly wondered this. Who does this 38 year old ST Coach know to build a staff with?

Biggest red flags to me is that he has never been an OC/DC/HC. Just wild to me that they may turn the keys to an SEC program over to this guy.

He has a lot of coaching connections, that's one strong point. This was my second favorite candidate. He's another Pennsylvania guy named Joe, but this one played in the SEC and was excepted to the Naval Academy and to Harvard out of hs.

Maybe he knows how to do this. We can only hope at this point.

That’s what a lot of fans are nervous about but apparently this guy is considered one of the best coaches the Patriots have. The patriot boards have been lit up about it all week and apparently he had a damn good interview.

The other thing is supposedly a lot of State legends are pushing for us to get Joe and have said this is a big time hire for the program. With his ties between college and pro he apparently has a lot of good names wanting to work with him. We will see what happens
