Well, to be fair, there were almost certainly compliance people in the program that should have been on what was going on with Bush, like white on rice. But there was only one actual coach that the NCAA got after, and it wasn’t Kiffin. Carroll got out of town, to the NFL before the shitstorm.
Of course, we probably should check with the Tennessee guy who has been flapping his lips. Apparently he knows things that neither we, nor the NCAA knows.

We will see in a couple/three years who made the better hire.
Arkansas and Ole Miss have the same ceilings. We are both middle to bottom tier schools that can have great years every now and again.
We have a bigger hole to climb out of. We have been as bad as FCS schools the last two years, but staff wise Pittman is killing it. We should be returned to decently competitive team. Most of the coaches he hired are top 25-30 for their positions. That could produce a top 25'ish team in a few years.
Ole Miss got Lane, his offense, and his recruiting. This should formulate a top 25 team again if it works out.
Based off Name and current rosters Ole Miss looks to win. Pittman and his staff wont be easy outs though. This is the SEC west besides out game we both have to play Bama, Auburn, LSU, A&M, and State. East match up strength will matter.
At any rate. No body knows shite and we will have to wait and see.
