If Georgia files Evans NLI and he doesn't qualify

Its been reported grades aren't the issue, so why would they be worried about him qualifying? Evans already picked UGA over the other schools twice now, so not sure how worried they'd be about him flipping. If the rumors are true he wants out then Kirby should let him go to a&m or somewhere outside the SEC. UGA plays Bama next year and could possible see LSU in the SECC in the future.

I don't know what the issue is. I'm spitballing like everyone else, except I'm bringing in NLI filing requirements.

I don't know what Evans grades are, but I believe there has to be a qualifying SAT or ACT.

Evans intended to be an EE. He took the ACT during the first half of the Semifinals..not a good sign. That result as you know would have been available in about two weeks. That's plenty of time for Georgia to get the result and file the NLI. If he was still trying to get a qualifying score. Maybe he didn't.

You seem to be informed regarding his academic standing, that may include his latest ACT. I'll certainly defer to anyone who has any facts whatsoever.

Maybe Georgia has some questions about his character after the cell phone issue that led to his not playing in the state championship game. So his offer became uncommittable until they got more information.

With respect DawgsLife comment on why would we know if Evans NLI was filed when other recruits status is still up in the air... Good point, and well taken, by the way.

What's the big secret? Whose secret is it anyway? Evans, who seemed to be pleading for some coach to want him? Or Georgia's? What would Georgia want secret here?
