Briles ability to get under the radar recruits in Texas

Apparently Kendal Briles started following this kid Donovan Eaglin recent on Twitter, which, obviously would mean there is probably some interest there.
The kid is a no star... Unranked. But his tape his highlights are pretty solid.
Now remember, Art Briles is a high school coach at Mt. Pleasant (east Texas) so he sees and knows about all these players and teams in that region.. Even some that may not have shown up recruiting camps that are still really good. And with east Texas being a lifeblood recruiting area for Arkansas I could see him passing along a lot of "guys to look at" that many collegea may not even know about.
Similar to how Nutt and Holtz used unknowns in Arkansas back in the day to fill out their rosters and who blossomed into very good players.

We apparently just offered this kid and he is set to OV in January. Briles is his lead recruiter.

Kid doesn't look all that fast, but he must be, because he outruns a lot of the angles defenders take on him. He was running through massive holes for the most part, but appears to have better vision than most.

Manvel routinely produces division I athletes. I believe the team two years ago had 8 D1 signees.

I watched about 2 min of his highlights. I thought the kid has a slow release honestly.
