The "best" player does not lose to his hated rival for his entire career. Burrow beat Alabama in their house when he got the chance.

Also, Peyton is not the GOAT in the NFL; Rice, Brady and Brees says hello.

Manning ended the losing streak to Bama (who historically was a much bigger rival to UT at the time). Prior to Manning's Sophomore season, UT hadn't beaten Bama in 10 years. He barely lost to them as a Freshman...then he started a 7-year winning streak over the Tide.
