He is a dangerous hire. A high risk/high reward hire.
But it's pretty bold to talk shite about their hire when your hire has never been more than a position coach. At least Drink has been an OC at a major program, and a head coach.

There is exactly 0 evidence that any of this is even true. This search was very frustrating for Hog fans because nobody knew a fricking thing.
We are just assuming that all of those guys rejected us.
And they may have for all I know. I don't care. I'm excited to see Pittman get a shot. I think he may do very well. I think he is a safer hire than Drinkwitz would have been, for instance. Drinkwitz is likely to take FBS position coaches to an SEC gig. It's a gamble to be sure.
Good thing about Pittman is he has 10 per year to work with to hire assistants. And he is much better connected than Drinkwitz.
Time will tell, chief.

This isn't true I don't think. I have reasons for saying this but I won't bother. It makes exactly zero difference to me what you think about our program or hires.

Not true at all. Former players were pushing for Pittman as soon as Chad was fired.
He agreed to be our coach on Wednesday.
Smokescreen U was just smokescreening. Drinkwitz wasn’t even considered.
