Drinkwitz is an Arkansas guy and it was hard for him to leave Springdale.

I believe he would jump at the chance to come home if the contract was favorable. He checks all the boxes for what I believe we need here.

If it is Drink they better give him 10 mil to buy top notch assistants and tell him to leave Ted Roof I’m Boone.

I think he might do well here. And here's the thing, we passed up on Norvell a couple years ago for the same reasons. Well, I think about now most would agree that was a mistake. He's FSU bound now. Bridge burnt.

Almost exact same scenario here and it would probably be a mistake to pass it up. And he would probably satisfy the crazy cult too because of his background.

So I hope its him, but apparently Mizzou is pursuing him and if I'm him, in spite of my history at Arkansas, I would certainly listen to what they had to say. They are better positioned than we are right now. It frickin sucks.

Like no P5 experience whatsoever? Like almost no chance of assembling an SEC caliber staff? Like being at the absolute bottom of an incredibly steep learning curve, that takes years at best to learn, and has eaten better, more experienced coaches alive? Like being willing to be fed to a fan base that is now out for blood, because we fired a coach who was woefully over his head, and hired one with even less experience?

What boxes exactly does Drinkwitz check? Willingness to take the job?
