This isn't the politics forum
True, but charges of racism have made their way into the discussion about UGA sports, and since it's basically the off-season now, what's the harm?

and why would I bang my head against the wall trying to convince someone as ignorant as you of anything.
You've done quite a lot of this with the Fields/Fromm discussion this season. Suddenly you act as if it's too much of a chore when a real discussion comes up. Why?

One only needs to see your ridiculous and slavish defense of Fromm to know that it would be a waste of time.
My defense of Fromm has been a direct result of the ignorant attacks against him this season. If you and a few others here had any semblance of rationality, you'd be able to see that our problems on offense are much, much bigger than Fromm, and I'd be happy to talk more specifically about the issues Fromm has had. Given that you especially have chosen to ignore the other major factors in favor of trashing a DGD because he dared to be trusted as the starter over the future of Georgia football last season, I've been having to spend more energy than I frankly care to trying to point out the stupidity of your position.

I could give you a thousand sources that show the evidence of institutionalized racism]
Just provide one. I want to make sure you even know what institutional racism actually is.

you will ignore it.
I won't ignore it. I may disagree with you and attempt to rebut what you've got to say, but I won't ignore it.

Ah, the old I have black friends argument. The defense of nearly every racist.
I think you missed the point. He didn't just have black friends. He had influential, powerful, and highly respected friends in the black community as friends and friendly acquaintances. He was liked and well respected for years until he became political. That's when the racism allegations started. It's almost as if that's the go-to attack by leftists who can't make rational arguments.

His history of racist statements and acts are well documented. Look it up. It has nothing to do with being a Republican. There are liberal and conservative racists.
Again, you miss the point. I'm not saying he can't be racist because he's a Republican or that he couldn't be racist when he was a Democrat. My point is that for years public figures have been lambasted for being racists, publicly and privately, and yet Trump was able to work with members of the NAACP and the Rainbow Coalition for years without issue until he decided to run for President.
