Spoiled is a relative term but Bama fans have sure had it our way in the past decade. It seemed like half of LSU's team was either hurt or sitting out for their bowl game with UCF last season. Plenty of teams are seeing the same participation and lack of enthusiasm from players and fans alike. I suspect this is why so many want to go to the expanded playoffs.

Bowls are nothing more than an extra road game these days and it has been long predicted that the playoffs would render the bowls impotent. For teams like Alabama, that has never been out of the playoffs in its existence, just the thought of it is downright boring.

The only way I could feel worse is if we have a few guys skip the bowl game like several other players have done in recent years. I haven't and won't talk down about the team and staff but replacing our DC and finishing off strong in recruiting will lift my spirits going into the new year. Roll Tide.
