I am assuming you're referring to the 2017 season playing Georgia twice with Bama in between. I think you are forgetting you had a game-bye against Louisiana Monroe in there.
except Clemson, its generally true for any team that in order to win a national championship they will have to beat 3 contenders in a row. youre arguing you wish you could have lost in the playoffs instead of the seccg.
