Dammit, you all want to get too cute in the red zone just like Sark. Line up under center in the I and run right behind Cornbread and Wills with Kaho leading the way for Najee. If we can’t get 2 yards in 3 plays doing that, then our arse is beat anyway.

The two runs prior to that netted 0 yards. A one yard run from the 9 to the 8 and a one yard loss from the 3 back to the 4.
Again, if nothing else, this play was designed to loosen up and spread out the defense, so we could run, using the same formation and personnel, up the middle.

I understand that it was a good playcall, and I bet it would have been a td with Tua or an experienced QB. I just don't believe we should have put Mac in that situation. We have a bull runningback that can jump, I'd try that before I took any unnecessary risks.
