Now take it off the list.

Supposedly they've already offered Petersen's replacement, a guy from the current staff, an understanding of a deal. 3 million a year for 5 years is what I have read.

Which tells me this did not come out of left field and was probably in motion over the course of the season.

The big question is who gets in the Petersen sweepstakes next year or the year after when he's had his time off and wants to get back into coaching? Does he leave the Pacific Northwest?
