I want a winnable matchup we'd get the most credit for.

I see the point, but in the end a win is all the really matters. Nobody remembers who played who after 20 days of endless bowl games. The 10 wins really is a weird demarcation, but it is a real perspective change for people. Coaches could sell it on the trail...as mentioned finishing ahead of bama would also be a big deal.

I want the Cotton Bowl. It’s the best bowl they’re predicting is for and easily the most winnable. It carries a risk of us losing to a Memphis/Boise/Cincy, but this situation is very different from UCF 2017.

Losing a bowl game sucks. It sucks all off season, and Gus and AU need to capitalize on beating Bama and 10 wins. I’d love to see Bama in the Citrus or Outback with AU in a NY6, keep kicking them while they’re down.

I probably not doing a good job explaining my position. I care about the quality of the opponent's brand moreso than the quality of the opponent, if all things are equal.

If all things are equal, and for example, I think Michigan and Wisconsin and Minnesota are roughly equivalent, I want Michigan. It's better to win and it's less problematic if we lose.

If I thought we could steamroll Minnesota or Memphis then I'd be happy to take a cheap win over a lesser program. But I don't think those are lower risk games than Michigan. And they're probably fairly good competition that we could theoretically lose to, and 9-4 with a loss to a program in a lower tier would be a really sour end to this season, much like 2017.
